About CrossPointX 2026
CrossPointX 2026 is a two-day inter-university hackathon co-hosted by the Science Innovation Association (SIA) of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) and the iOS Club of Duke Kunshan University (DKU), under the auspices of the XJTLU School of Chips. It brings together around 300 students — roughly 75 teams of four — from Soochow University, XJTLU and DKU. Cross-school and cross-discipline teams are strongly encouraged.
The event centers on cross-campus collaboration, real user needs and product prototyping. In two days, teams move from problem discovery to solution design, prototype development and a final expo presentation, supported by mentors, judges and partner companies. We want you to think beyond what you can build: why the product has value, why users would choose it, and whether it truly answers a real problem.
Who Can Join
Currently enrolled students from Soochow University, XJTLU and DKU are welcome. Teams have exactly four members, and cross-school, cross-major combinations are encouraged. Full details are in the Eligibility settings and the Rules section below.

Requirements
Build a working product prototype for one of the two tracks: Apple Human-centered Care, or Reverse Product Innovation.
Your project should identify a specific target user, explain the real need being addressed, and show deliberate feature prioritization — not just technology for its own sake.
All work must be created during the hackathon (November 21–22). Frameworks, open-source libraries and pre-existing tools may be used, but they must be disclosed in your project description.
What to Submit on DevpostSubmit through this Devpost page no later than 1:00 PM (Beijing time) on November 22, 2026. A complete submission includes:
-
Project title and short summary on your Devpost project page.
-
Full description: the problem, target users, your solution, key prototype features, and each member's role.
-
Working links: a reachable demo or prototype link and your source-code repository. Test every link before the deadline.
-
A project poster (required): summarizing the user and task scenario, the core feature or reverse-design mechanism, and the key design takeaways. Add it to your Devpost project page as a project image or a public link.
-
All four team members added to the Devpost project.
No other private file upload is required: everything judges need, including the poster, should be reachable from your public project page. Bring your own devices and demo setup to the expo — judging happens live at your table, not through file attachments.
-
Devpost
